“SONGS OF LOVE FOUND” – PART 1
The concert series “Mid-Day Music at Melville” presented and performed by pianist and singer Brad Halls continues with its 4th season of concerts with the next performance on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Melville United Church in Fergus beginning at 12 noon and continuing until about 1 p.m.
With Valentine’s Day falling in the middle of February, Brad has been dedicating the entire month to songs concerned with both “Love Lost” and “Love Found”. Having spent the past two weeks featuring the bittersweet “Songs of Love Lost”, Brad turns his attention to the first of two weeks of music dedicated to the “Songs of Love Found”. The performance will include songs by Fats Waller, Harry Warren, George and Ira Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Lerner and Loewe and others and will feature classic songs – among them “Almost Like Being in Love”, “Love Walked In”, I’ve Never Been in Love Before”, “Our Love Is Here to Stay” and many more.
While there is no admission charge to any of these performances, a voluntary donation to Melville United Church to help keep the lights on and the piano tuned is always appreciated.
