Kate joined Melville as Ministry Leader in July 2026. A Candidate with The United Church of Canada, she and her family recently returned to Ontario after a wonderful few years living on the west coast. There, Kate completed her studies at Vancouver School of Theology and served in two congregations on the shores of Vancouver Island. She brings a passion for connecting church and community, a love of worship, and a never-ending curiosity about the role of prayer in our connection to the Spirit.

Kate shares worship leadership at Melville with a terrific group of visiting ministers.

Melville United is a multi-age community of faith.  Our worship is expressed in a variety of ways every day, with Sunday worship as the center. We welcome and encourage the talents and contributions of all. We respond to needs through pastoral care, community care and global outreach.
