“DARN THAT DREAM” – PART 2
The concert series “Mid-Day Music at Melville” presented and performed by pianist and singer Brad Halls continues with its 4th season of concerts with the next performance on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Melville United Church in Fergus beginning at 12 noon and continuing until about 1 p.m.
This coming Wednesday, Brad will be present the second of two weeks of music dedicated to the songs inspired by our dreams. Entitled “Darn That Dream”, after the famous song by James Van Heusen and Eddie DeLange, the performance will include great standards by Harry Warren, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Harold Arlen, Johnny Mercer, Sigmund Romberg and several others with selections from Broadway, Hollywood and Tin Pan Alley. Come and enjoy “I Had the Craziest Dream”, “This Time the Dream’s on Me”, “I Have Dreamed”, “Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams” and many more.
While there is no admission charge to any of these performances, a voluntary donation to Melville United Church to help keep the lights on and the piano tuned is always appreciated.
