The music concert series Mid-Day Music at Melville returns to Melville United Church in Fergus for the next performance, in its 3rd season on Wednesday, April 23 with the concert beginning at 12 noon and continuing until about 1 p.m.
Join pianist and singer Brad Halls, as he continues his season-long journey through “great music from the movies”. The next performance on April 23 will feature selections from movies released from 1972 to 1976 and will include music by composers such as Michel Legrand, Marvin Hamlisch, Nino Rota, the team of John Kander and Fred Ebb and an Oscar winning song written by no less than Barbra Streisand herself. Come and enjoy music from such memorable movies as “Cabaret”, “Brian’s Song”, “The Way We Were”, “The Godfather Part II” and “The Sting” among others.
There is absolutely no admission charge to attend any of these concerts, but a voluntary donation, all of which goes to Melville United Church, help keep the heat on and the piano tuned, and is always gratefully received.
