“COMING AND GOING”
The concert series “Mid-Day Music at Melville” presented and performed by pianist and singer Brad Halls continues with its 4th season of concerts with the next performance on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Melville United Church in Fergus beginning at 12 noon and continuing until about 1 p.m.
This week, after a two week break for Christmas and New Year’s, the series returns to its theme of “Songwriters’ Inspirations”, with a program entitled “Coming and Going”, celebrating songs of motion, both physical and metaphorical. Come and enjoy songs by great songwriters from Cole Porter to Stephen Sondheim, from Harold Arlen to Billy Joel. The program will include classic songs such as Come Rain or Come Shine, Going My Way, Come Back to Me, Good Thing Going and Someday My Prince Will Come among several others.
While there is no admission charge to any of these performances, a voluntary donation to Melville United Church to help keep the lights on and the piano tuned is always appreciated.
