“THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF CHRISTMAS
The concert series “Mid-Day Music at Melville” presented and performed by pianist and singer Brad Halls continues with its 4th season of concerts with the next performance on Wednesday, December 17 at Melville United Church in Fergus beginning at 12 noon and continuing until about 1 p.m.
This week, the series will set aside is seasonal theme of “Songwriters’ Inspirations”, to celebrate the wonderful world of Christmas music, with songs and carols and the interesting origins of the music of the season. There will be opportunities for the audience to sing along with what we hope will be some of your Christmas favourites
On December 17, Brad will be joined by his special guest singer Melanie Steenburgh, who our audience will recall from her wonderful appearance last Christmas. Since then Melanie has become the music director of the Centre Wellington Singers and is leading them through performances that delight the entire community.
After this performance on December 17, the series will take a two-week break to celebrate Christmas and New Years, and the series will resume on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
While there is no admission charge to any of these performances, a voluntary donation to Melville United Church to help keep the lights on and the piano tuned is always appreciated.
