The concert series “Mid-Day Music at Melville”, presented and performed by pianist and singer Brad Halls, continues its 4th season of concerts with the next performance on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Melville United Church in Fergus, beginning at 12 noon and continuing until about 1 p.m. And we are not “fooling” about the date!
Last week we heard songs associated with the stars, and this week we turn for inspiration to our most important star of all, our own sun with songs written by everyone from Jimmy McHugh, Harold Arlen, Bock and Harnick to Lennon and McCartney, George Harrison and Stevie Wonder. Come and enjoy memorable songs such as our title theme “Here Comes the Sun” to “That Lucky Old Sun”, “Canadian Sunset,” “Wait ‘til the Sun Shines Nellie”, “When the Sun Comes Out” and many more.
While there is no admission charge to any of these performances, a voluntary donation to Melville United Church to help keep the lights on and the piano tuned is always appreciated.
